I haven't done any extensive workouts with these shoes, but I've walked around in them for a few days and haven't had any discomfort yet, so far so good. Definitely recommend to anyone who has wider feet. I'll be traveling to NYC in the upcoming weeks and will update my review thenI'm not a runner. For 10 years I've been into lifting, with the occasional walk thrown in. My go-to all purpose shoe for 5 years has been the Reebok CrossFit Nano series. Lately I have been doing a lot more walking and then jogging. Every time, my shins were killing me, it was a struggle, and my Nanos were starting to smell awful (a problem they have... I have Chucks that I wear all the time for years no stink, but Nanos smell like a dumpster after 6 months). Went to buy another pair of Nano's, saw the Henry's and tried them instead.WOW!I can jog!I went from tons of pain and feeling like my feet were made of lead after a quarter mile to being able to jog a full mile. It turns out, there really is a difference in shoes! The Henry's are light as a feather, breathe super well (you actually feel the air moving through them if it is chilly outside), no more pain, no more lead feet. LOVE THEM.I like the way they look too... I'm probably going to get a second pair just to wear around with casual outfits, though I could get anything else for that too.But being able to actually jog for the first time in my life, amazing. There may be better running shoes out there, I am not enough of a runner to notice or care. But it's nice that it's now my cardio, not pain, holding me back from running better. I don't feel the need to look for a different running shoe any time soon.J.Jabought these to be my runners for my trip to Spain. needed an ivory-colored shoe to match my ivory wardrobe, these are perfect for that. they look very chic, yet are extremely comfortable and super light! wore them for hours during my daily walks around town and even survived a harsh scrubbing after a night out dancing. would highly recommend it.Great shoe. Breathable, comfortable, they slip right on & off but hold to the foot snugly. I’ve been doing a lot of standing low impact exercises since lockdown & only recently have I been hitting the floor. Now that I’m doing push-ups I realize these are running about a half size too big & it’s too late to return them. Nobody’s fault but mine!My advice? Well worth the purchase, just make sure they fit when you get them.At first I thought they were too narrow but I put them on again and started walking around and realized they were not. In fact the material is forgiving but the footbed is solid so I can tighten the shoe without it restraining the natural spread of my foot when I move. I like them alot!I run about three miles a day on pavement and they have good shock absorption and a solid landing. I also run on hilly terrain and they dont slip - inside the shoe or on the bottom so they have good traction. At the gym for training they are better than my NB sneakers because they are low profile so I can balance and jump with a good foundation. Not too thin but also not too wobbly.Yes I would recommend them. Oddly I want them in hot pink or fuchsia or bright blue so that they match my girly gym shirts. Slime green would be cool.I would wear then with street clothes too.Oh! I like the toe guard it keeps my feet dry if I have to walk thru the lawn when it’s wet.Although I still think these shoes are overpriced, they are quite comfortable and look great. Have several pair in different colors.I have been looking for a low cut, ultra light weight, white, attractive running shoe for years! Something you can wear with shorts, is super comfortable, and does not look like you are wearing large, clunky running shoes. While I do not wear them for running...I probably could. If you want something as comfortable as running shoes that you can fashionable wear out...and that do not look like running shoes...this is the shoe. I am very, very, very, picky about comfort and this shoe hits the mark! The fit was also perfect. I will be buying another pair when these wear out.I never heard of York until this month. Great shoe. I do not like the amount of colors on other brands of shoes. One or two colors per pair of sneakers, looks best. Everything about this shoe is great, The weight is light, The triangular pattern on the outer sole is unique and grabs as well on dirt as it does on blacktop. Normally round shoe laces come untied and I must double know them, not on the York. I didn't like the pull up leather strap at first look, Now I love it, makes it much easier to put on. I set out to walk two miles today, my first day in this sneaker. They felt so good I walked 3 miles. I also though they were tight at first, as another review said, but they fit just right. I will buy another pair, maybe black and white or maroon, not sure I like the red on the maroon sneaker.
